Homosexuality is a Human Right

Homosexuality is not taught... it's inside a person.

Hi, everyone. My name is Shifra. I'm from Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. And my pronouns are she/hers.

I'm here to talk about the unfair law/bill that was made by the Ugandan government against homosexuality. It has been illegal to be a homosexual in Uganda. But the law that has been made, it is more tight than ever. It is a threat to the gay community and entire region near Uganda.

This law was made by the government and it is going to be approved by the president of Uganda. The public is also supporting this bill. And some of them say that it is not even fair enough. They need to do a mob justice to anyone caught practicing homosexuality.

Homosexuality, what I want to inform the world, is not taught, but it is inside a person. That's what a person is. It is not taught or told to do so. That's what a person decides. And Ugandans should be aware that homosexuality is a human right and they need to respect to that.

Please take action by emailing your government here.
