The Free Block 13 Community Support team is made up for individuals who are committed to making a difference. We see our job as providing authentic relationships and listening and taking the actions available to us. You can help by: 


1. Becoming an advocate and amplify our voices by joining our fortnightly zoom meetings. 


2. Sending a letter to your;


      *President, MP, Congresswoman/man or any other relevant politician, 



       *Minister for foreign affairs or immigration. 



       *UNHCR Geneva, Kenya and your country, 



       *Non Governmental Organisations, 



        *International, regional and local humanitarian activists, 



        *Your relevant country government Agencies,



         *Your country embassy in Kenya. 


Stand for the government taking action regarding the Ugandan anti-homosexuality bill and expediting LGBTQIA+ refugees.


3. Privately sponsor an LGBTI refugee to safety from Kakuma Refugee Camp.  If you are in Canada, click here for more information. If you are in the USA click here.  Please note, some programs require people to already have refugee status, which we don't.


4. Organising physical or online protests. 


5. Signing and sharing a petition click here


6. You can organise physical fundraising activities like car wash, walk, run, cycling, bar and restaurant crawl, community/church fundraising and or a virtual fundraising to raise more funds for our friends as they need them too for things like food, medical supplies, shelters and shelter renovation, and many others.
